Meet the CASA Staff

 

Bill Sanders B.S. Sociology
Executive Director - CASA for the Cross Timbers Area, Inc.

Bill joined CASA in January 2007 as  Executive Director. He manages the day to day operations of the agency, obtains and manages funding and supervises professional staff.  Bill serves as the liaison between the program and the Board of Directors, and represents the agency in the community. He is in the process of  beginning a Faith Base Recruiting organization.  Since on board Bill has recruited and helped train 17 new advocates. Bill is also a minister for a local church in Tolar, Texas where he preaches and teaches several Bible classes. He has a BS in Sociology from Tarleton State University. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters and many grandchildren.  He also enjoys collecting and repairing old cars and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.

Cristie Campbell B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies

Cristie began her CASA career in July 2007 as the Program Director. She oversees the advocate supervisors and still actively trains and supervises the majority of the volunteers from Erath, Hamilton, and Bosque Counties. She tracks program statistics and maintains the CASA database. She also serves as webmaster for the Cross Timbers program.  Cristie holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tarleton State University with a specialization in Reading and English.  Cristie has been married for fifteen years and her and her husband have 2 beautiful children.  Outside of work Cristie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking and camping. 

Linda Jones
Advocate Supervisor - Palo Pinto County

Linda Jones began her association with CASA as a volunteer in the first group of advocates in Palo Pinto County in March, 2007.  In 2006, she was nominated for the Jane Q. Piper Volunteer Advocate of the Year for the work done on her first case.  Linda joined the CASA staff as Advocate Supervisor for Palo Pinto County in March, 2007.  Linda has spent much of her life in working with young children, both in church settings and professional settings.  Linda enjoys unwinding by doing crossword puzzles, cryptograms, and Sudoku puzzles.

 

Linda Tate
Advocate Supervisor - Eastland County

Linda Tate started working for CASA in March, 2007.  She is a native of Huckabay, Texas.  She earned her B.S. degree in English and Physical Education and M.Ed. degree in Education from Tarleton State University.  She taught English, Physical Education, and coached all girls' sports for many years.  She ended her teaching career as a special education teacher.  Linda is the Advocate Supervisor for Eastland County.  She also supervises advocates in Erath, and Hamilton Counties.  When not working, Linda enjoys spending time with her family and working with the animals on her farm.
